MY LOVE A SURFER (Poem)

MY LOVE A SURFER

My love a body, riding your heart
To master your love, I drive each wave
Thrust on billows, passion I enslave
Slide through hollows, under blankets of foam
Coils of blue and green, encircle me
My love journeys upon your heat’s swells
The upsurge muscles I dominate
Surf tides of love, the captain of your heart
Against currents, I glide every roller
On leafy breakers, I stand like a commander
Cardiac stream undulates, with every ripple
My love manoeuvres ridges all through the day
Until twilight, on the sand, your heart will stay

A Lover's Impression(Poem)

A LOVER’S IMPRESSION

Beauty is in the eyes of the seeker
Beauty dwells within like the setting sun
Love has no eyes, eyes for the beholder
From the blossom of an art love is born
Of what I see is no material
I reach out to what seems intangible
I see the unseen through pictorial
A scene from a love metaphor, subtle
My epitome to show what inside is
An abstract drawing is my epithet
I pray for this hour on my sore knees
Beauty and love depict in a sunset

TWILIGHT MY PAINTER

TWILIGHT MY PAINTER

Professional on land, twilight an artist
Crouched on the sand, the seascape his masterpiece
Beyond the horizon stood his black easel
From the shore, arms with lighted brushes dangle
His pools of pigment, all the shades of yellow
Hovering brushes, on the skyline he throws
Dripping bristles of light, after every go
Lakes of ivory, cream, jasmine on palette
Saffron and gold is his sea, chrome his sunset
With a chant, melody of cheerful waves
Portrayal of evening, before him, he engraves
He works into a gaze, at a lemon pose
When it’s night his mother calls, the painter goes
The picture down, covered in a cloth of black
It will rise tomorrow, when twilight is back.

TWILIGHT IS BLOND (Poem)

TWILIGHT IS BLOND

She sits on the horizon knitting
Knitwear the golden leafage sea shining
A sea fabric of sequins polished
Interlocked loops with her silver needles
With a yellow yarn wound her spools
Her strings of golden hair rays of bright light
Wiggling through the wind, stretching to land
Her song the cry of seagulls hovering
Her apparel of yellow she wears
With jewellery of gold she always keeps
Embroidery, the love she unfolds
When knitting is over, she lies to rest
Descending the horizon, her lodge

Acids (YOU ARE HARMLESS) (Science Poem)

Acids (YOU ARE HARMLESS)

You are harmless like a baby
Although you have a sour taste
You are innocent
Safety you represent
Although you turn blue litmus paper red
You may be mild and non-toxic
You are a good electrical conductor
You are non-addictive
You are inoffensive
You have pH values less than seven
I need you in my life
You react with active metals to produce hydrogen gas
You are acceptable
You are unobjectionable
You react with carbonates to produce carbon dioxide gas

HIBISCUS BLOSSOM (Poem)

HIBISCUS BLOSSOM

Ballet dancer moving in the wind,
Showing her beauty, throughout the day,
In the area of her dwelling,
With her stalk legs, movements she displays.

Possessing cup-shaped, pelvic girdle,
Above the trunk, her stalk legs below,
With colour of green, that’s visible,
In forested region of willow.

Having a dress, of fine texture,
Trumpet shaped petals of red or white,
Splendid quality, of the dancer,
With bright colour, an attractive sight.

Shaking her head with hair of pollen,
From swaying side to side, just dancing
With her stalk thorax and abdomen
The good dancer portrays her dancing.

Canary (Poem)

CANARY

Locked up within bars, my pet companion
Imprisoned in your world, with so much song
Bright yellow, you are so full of mellow
With musical notes of harmony
A sweet sound of a sincere melody
From vibrations of your silvery string
With this gentle sound of a vibrant ring
Whistling through the air, in your caged prison
Chanting away a soft sweet cheerful tune
Songs of an opera forever merry
Each day, making me so very happy

Bedtime (Poem)

BEDTIME

Night sprawls within his body
The earth a sleepy man lies
Under blanket sheets of shadows
Wearing his nightgown to sleep
Silently at rest, he sinks in his mattress
His snore the whispering of the swaying trees
Breaths of night wind, in his nocturnal whistle

Daylight (Poem)

DAYLIGHT

A ripe lemon floats the horizon
Squeezing juice a foundation of colour
Daylight is scarlet drops
Orangeade spills the land
From horizon flourish yellow
The trees dye with their leafy shade
A sea of the azure
With the rays from cobalt
You plant your violets
