Body Systems

Body Systems

Circulatory system
The circulatory system is the body's carrying system. It is made up of a group of organs that transport blood throughout the body. The heart pumps the blood whiles the arteries and veins transfer it.

Digestive System
The digestive system is made up of organs that break down food which the body needs for liveliness, development, and restore. Once food is chewed and swallowed, it goes down the esophagus and enters the stomach. There it is broken down by prevailing stomach acids. After the stomach the food travels into the small intestine. This is where your food is broken down and enters the bloodstream.
Endocrine System
The endocrine system is made up of a group of glands that create the body's hormones. Hormones are chemicals that manage body functions, such as metabolism, growth, and sexual development. The glands, which include the pituitary gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, adrenal glands, thymus gland etc.. discharge hormones directly into the bloodstream, which carries the hormones to organs and tissues all through the body.
Immune System
The immune system is our body's protection system against infections and diseases. Organs, tissues, cells, and cell products work collectively to counter treacherous organisms (like viruses or bacteria) and substances that may come into the body from the surroundings.
Lymphatic System
The lymphatic system is also a protection system for the body. It gets rid of organisms that cause disease; it produces white blood cells, and creates disease-fighting antibodies. This system is made up of a system of vessels that help move body fluids.

Muscular System
The muscular system is made up of tissues that join with the skeletal system to manage the movement of the body. Some muscles are voluntary whiles are involuntary.
The body consists of three types of muscle tissue: skeletal, smooth and cardiac. Each of these has the capacity to contract and expand, which permits the body to move and function. .
Nervous System
The nervous system is made up of the brain, the spinal cord, and nerves. This system is your body's control system. It sends, receives, and processes nerve impulses throughout the body. These nerve impulses inform your muscles and organs how to react to the surroundings.
Reproductive System
The reproductive system allows humans to make children. Sperm from the male fertilizes the female's egg. The fertilized egg moves to the uterus, where the fetus develops over a time of nine months.
Respiratory System
The respiratory system takes air into the body and gets rid of carbon dioxide. It includes the nose, trachea, and lungs. When you breathe in, air enters your nose or mouth and goes down a long tube called the trachea then into your lungs.
Skeletal System
The skeletal system consists of bones, ligaments and tendons. It shapes the body and protects organs. The skeletal system joins with the muscular system to help the body move.
Urinary System
The urinary system discharges waste from the body, in the form of urine. The kidneys remove waste from the blood and the waste is then combined with water to form urine.
