Metaphor (Poem)

METAPHOR

You compare one thing to another
Like the simile; makes things similar
The moon is a silver coin in the sky
The helicopter is a dragon fly

Some say you are an analogy
Some say you are an allegory;
The hurricane winds are a pit-bull
The sandpaper he has is steel wool

You are the figure of speech
And symbolism you teach;
His belly is a big drum
The white glue is chewing gum
